Friskets and Masks

This 2 mil vinyl film has a specially formulated adhesive that neither lifts the surface nor strips off work already completed. Film is transparent, low tack, and easy to lift. Badger Film leaves no residue after removal. This clear film can also be used as a temporary protective overlay. A translucent backing provides for easier handling and permits use with a light box for cutting stencils and masks.

Shiva Liquid Masque is for watercolor and airbrush painting. With a brush, apply the masque to areas where color is not wanted. Paint as desired. When dry, remove the masque by peeling or rubbing. Use Shiva Liquid Masque Cleaner for cleaning brushes. This product contains latex.

Blick Liquid Frisket is intended for use on watercolor papers, photos, and other media where overlying applications of watercolors, gouache, or ink are to be made. It works best on sized paper, and should not be used on wet paper. To assist flow, simply add a few drops of water, shake well, and apply with a nib to the area to be protected. Remove the frisket by peeling or rubbing with a soft eraser. Ideally, it should be removed within 24 to 48 hours to achieve the best results. This product contains latex.
