Friskets and Masks

Use Iwata Original Frisket Film to create your own stencils or protect your work from excessive handling. The low-tack, soft-peel, self-adhesive masking film can be used with most mediums, including photographs, illustration board, Claybord, watercolor and drawing paper, canvas, glass, plastic, metal, and glazed ceramic surfaces. The film has a translucent backing sheet for trouble-free handling and can easily be removed or repositioned. It won’t wrinkle, bleed, or flutter under airbrush spray.

The contents of this set include fifteen 1/2" x 2" tubes, a 3/4" x 4" (2 cm x 10 cm) tube of extender, a 1 oz bottle of P.M. Solution, and a 1 oz bottle of Marlene (for removing and cleaning), as well as cotton balls and toothpicks.

This removable, colorless fluid makes specific fields water resistant. It will retain areas of white paper or areas of underpainting that you want to reserve, and then can easily be rubbed off with finger or eraser. The handy dispensing bottle allows for fine detail work. Allow masking fluid to dry thoroughly before painting and do not leave masking fluid longer than two days on the paper. It is also recommended for airbrush use.
