This is a sleek and efficient easel for the serious painter or pastelist. It features a geared, self-locking drive winch that is connected to the bottom canvas holder by a strong steel cable, for quiet and effortless raising and lowering of canvases up to 80" (203 cm) wide, 80" (203 cm) high, and 100 lbs (45 kg) in weight. The canvas holders lock canvases securely in place during raising and lowering, with rubber bumpers that reduce slippage and allow for painting to the edge of the canvas. Forward and back tilt are easily adjusted from the front of the easel. Also included are four locking casters to assure stability and ease of movement. The easel is made from American white ash wood with a traditional Cherry stain and a sprayed lacquer finish. It measures 29"W × 30"D (74 cm × 76 cm) and is adjustable from 65"–104" (165 cm–264 cm) high. Assembly of the base, back supports, and easel body requires 2–3 people to complete.
