What is a Pottery Kick Wheel?
Many pottery makers use electric powered pottery wheels. Others opt for choosing a kick wheel. Kick wheels are pottery wheels that are taller than others. These are operated manually by using energy from a kicking motion to give the wheel power. This power makes the wheel move in a circular motion. Kick wheels are very quiet and rather cost efficient. They can be made for much less than the price of a powered wheel with a motor.
