Squirrel Brushes

This soft badger hair chiqueter brush features hand-tied quills fixed to a long, flat natural polished handle. It is flat with two square-edged locks. This is a truly unique brush for the discerning artist.

A blend of natural squirrel hair and black synthetic filament combines to provide excellent carrying capacity with control, spring, and precise pointing. Black Velvet brushes are full bodied, with a wonderful snap. Use them with watercolor, silk painting, inks, dyes, acrylics, and gouache. A polished black ferrule crimps the hair and is fitted to a gloss black handle.

The finest Siberian blue squirrel is unsurpassed in color absorption, making it a superb brush for large watercolor washes. It has a large, delicate point for unique brush strokes and line work. The genuine goose quill ferrule is hand tied with brass wires onto a natural wood handle.
