Wall Lenk
Founded in 1864 by an Irishman named Patrick Wall, Wall Lenk began manufacturing products such as blow torches, oil cans, gongs and ice cans. These were all products used to produce and transport ice. With the successful invention of electricity, the company shifted its focus of production to soldering tools. This would be the future of the company’s product lines.
During the 1940s, strategic acquisitions by the company helped in diversifying its lines of products. At this point, manufacturing and administration facilities were relocated to North Carolina from Pennsylvania. This fabulous company continues to manufacture quality lines of heated tools and is recognized as a leader in the industry.
