Spectra
Spectra is a division of Pacon Papers, and is best known for its art tissue and paper racks. Spectra also produces party bags, glitter and other arts and crafts supplies.
Spectra’s art tissue is used in classrooms and art studios around the world. Painting with Spectra tissue is simple. Just wet a brush and wash color onto paper. Overlap more than one color and watch the colors blend. You can also add glue to your water and then hold tissue in position to create different layered effects.
Spectra tissues, glitters, and other arts and crafts items can be useful in helping children, both in the classroom and at home, to express themselves creatively. Children who create art are usually more successful in other aspects of their formal education, and studies have shown that children who are given the creative outlet of art test higher in mathematics and science.
