Rheotech Acrylics offer an excellent balance of quality and economy for the beginning artist and art student, with a full palette of 33 vibrant colors that provides teachers and students with the necessary tools for color theory and mixing. Rheotech Acrylics have a creamy, workable consistency while maintaining the ability to hold texture. This excellent viscosity profile is the result of research and development in rheology technology as it pertains to acrylic paint, giving these paints the handling characteristics of a professional product. Every color in the line is made with 100% acrylic emulsion that contains materials used only in artist-quality paints. Formulated to provide a variety of diverse effects ranging from thin washes to heavy impasto, these paints maintain a consistent viscosity and finish throughout the line. The creamy, smooth flow of the paint sustains knife and brush marks, while continuing to maintain a uniform paint film and rich color in a thinned state. The flexible, waterfast nature of Rheotech Acrylics allows for versatility in application on a variety of surfaces, including paper, wood, clay, plaster, and more. Application to oily or greasy surfaces is not recommended, as this will compromise adhesion and paint film integrity. They are fully compatible with each other and other acrylic paints and mediums. Do not mix Rheotech Acrylics with oil paints, solvent based paints, or inks. Rheotech Acrylics are non-toxic and virtually scent-free, making them the ideal choice for both the studio and classroom.
