Best Halley Easel
Beautiful and strong, the Best Halley Easel holds canvases up to 80" tall. It has a multitude of height and tilt settings, including a flat position for use as a table, and a forward-tilting position for pastels. Canvases remain secure because of rubber grips on the top, bottom, and center painting trays. The center painting tray can be used flat or tilted at an angle. The tray/palette has a white Melamine paint mixing surface with a stainless steel canister for solvents, oil, and other materials. Use the bottom shelf for other storage. Although the Best Halley Easel handles canvases up to 80", we recommend it more for its multimedia capabilities. The Best Halley Easel accommodates a very large canvas uncomfortably near to the floor, and is unable to tilt vertical or forward with a large canvas in place. Halley really excels for its ability to hold a mid-size board or canvas easily at any angle. Choose the Best Halley Easel if you want a single easel for midsize works in every medium. It's a great easel too for artists who like to sit while they paint. Like all Best easels, the Halley is a beautiful piece of handcrafted furniture, made of solid red oak with a handrubbed oil finish, fitted with the finest hardware. It ships partially assembled from the manufacturer by UPS. Some assembly is required.
